Jorge Pacheco Herrera, owner of the renowned restaurant "El Inca Plebeyo" in London, England, brings a piece of Ecuador to haute cuisine. Despite growing up on his family's farm without access to the kitchen, Jorge discovered his passion for cooking upon moving to Europe in 2000. He honed his skills in some of Europe's finest kitchens, including Michelin-starred establishments.

His love for Ecuadorian cuisine shines through in every dish, showcasing the diverse flavours of his homeland. His dedication to authenticity and quality led to El Inca Plebeyo being shortlisted for the prestigious 2018 Gastronomes Award and being the only Ecuadorian restaurant listed in The Good Food Guide 2020, a testament to its excellence.

Elegant dishes that delight and amaze

Great cooking starts with great ingredients. Like everything you will find at Hux, our food and drink experience is exciting and captivating. Deliciousness goes without saying and of course, we are on hand to ensure that your event is made all the more special by providing your guests with a choice of cuisine and drinks to suit the mood and occasion.

    This stunning zebra was cut down in her prime when she took a bullet to the chest, courtesy of Colonel Coke. She lived fast and died young so don’t forget to pour one out for our fallen homie before you leave.

  • Swing with Michael

    He hangs around in hotels, lurking in dark corners like the swinger he is. He’ll win you over with his sweetness but be warned, he’ll have moved on to his next target quicker than you can say “cheeky monkey”.

  • Pingu's Pride

    This little guy seems quiet at first however, once he comes out of his shell you’ll be wishing he’d shut the f*ck up and let you get a word in edge ways. He’s loud and proud and could drink you under the table.

  • The Parrot One

    Understated but not to be underestimated. Pingelou is effortlessly cool with his sultry looks and vibrant colours. Many years ago he used to sail the high seas perched on the shoulders of an infamous pirate...only the brave will ask him for his tales.

  • Pout with Patrick

    This peacock is a basic bitch with a heart of gold. He’s got more insta followers than your favourite Kardashian and more charisma than all of them combined. He’s fancy and elegant but definitely not pretentious. You’ll be lucky to get a kiss from him!

  • Fly High Loves Margaritas

    This parrot is one seriously spicy mama. She;s definitely got more sass than sense but somehow still manages to establish herself as the 'mum friend' in any social situation. She is a true icon (and she knows it).

    A fantastic find in Kensington, within easy walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall, bars and restaurants.

    First class service from staff, and a lovely quirky hotel. Our room was very well fitted out, and loved the design throughout. Would definitely stay here again.
